We are Toxmetics, two independent professionals based in Prague, working at the intersection of cosmetic science and everyday chemistry.
With backgrounds in the beauty and FMCG industry, we spent several years as project managers in cosmetics, fragrance, and household care. This gave us a real-world understanding of how products are developed, marketed, and brought to consumers.
Today, we combine that industry experience with expertise in cosmetic safety, ingredient analysis, and regulatory thinking. We look past marketing claims and focus on what products are actually made of and what they actually do.
Through consultations, lectures, and educational content, we turn complex science into clear, practical insight.

We’re Elizaveta and Ekaterina - two independent professionals who moved from working inside the beauty industry into independent cosmetic expertise.
What started as a shared habit of questioning products, formulas, and marketing claims turned into Toxmetics: a platform for honest analysis, science-based thinking, and clear communication in cosmetics and household chemistry.
Elizaveta Ermakova
Elizaveta works at the core of cosmetic science with expertise in cosmetic safety assessment, ingredient evaluation, and regulatory frameworks. With a background in cosmetic chemistry and experience in cosmetics manufacturing, she focuses on how products are built from a scientific and safety perspective, translating complex technical and regulatory information into clear, practical insights.
Ekaterina Samotes
Ekaterina is an experienced project manager from the FMCG industry, specializing in laundry care, fragrance, and packaging development. Ekaterina combines strong industry execution skills with a sharp cosmetic consumer perspective and deep understanding of household chemistry. Her strength lies in combining structure, communication, and real-world product logic, turning complex systems into clear, workable outcomes.
